The Accidental Partner

My core insight: the most valuable lessons I used in high-stakes boardrooms weren't taught in business school. I learned them decades earlier, behind the counter of my parents' nine-square-meter provision shop in Jakarta.

This book is my attempt to pass that forward: an honest account of the unscheduled, unglamorous apprenticeship that happens underneath a career, for anyone who has ever wondered whether they belong at the table they finally got a seat at.

ABOUT THE BOOK

Accidental Partnerships

Giving Back

Fifteen years, five career stages, one lesson that kept repeating: nobody builds a career alone. Every chapter in this book is really about someone who partnered with me when they didn't have to — a manager, a client, a colleague, a CEO. The title belongs to them as much as it does to me.

All proceeds from this book support education access for underserved children in Indonesia, along with scholarship and mental health initiatives close to my own story.
